Obesity Alert: Wendy’s Selling Chocolate Frosty as Cereal Now, There’s More Than 1 Way to Happily Gain Weight This Fall

A Frosty from Wendy’s is a thing of unrivaled beauty. The iconic frozen dessert has been available at the fast-food restaurant since 1969. It’s a lightly chocolaty, sort of icy, definitely not ice cream treat that we just can’t figure out. But questions aside, we know one thing: it’s delicious, nostalgic, and just as tasty today as it was when we first enjoyed one in our youth. We believe that it’s one of the purest, greatest desserts in the fast-food universe. You don’t need cookie chunks, fudge, or even whipped cream, it’s simple and perfect. That’s why we were so excited to learn that Wendy’s was launching a Frosty-themed cereal.

The beloved burger chain is partnering with Kellogg’s for what is being called “Wendy’s Frosty Chocolatey Cereal.” This sounds like the perfect name for a cereal created to pay homage to the perfect fast-food dessert. This limited-edition cereal was created to taste like a Frosty, but in cereal form.

It does this with chocolatey marshmallow pieces paired with “crispy, cocoa-coated round cereal bites”. It’s set to hit store shelves in December (just in time for holiday snacking) for a suggested retail price of $3.99 per box. We suggest buying a box and then swinging through the drive-thru for a real Frosty for a side-by-side comparison.
