Watch Joy Behar Hilariously Fall Off Her Chair During Live Show (What’s ‘The View’ Like Down There?)

You’ve probably never tuned in to The View. And why would you? The longtime talk show that’s been helmed by a slew of mature women like Whoopi Goldberg and Barbara Walters isn’t exactly your cup of tea. (Though we bet your mom loves it.)

But you’ll want to watch this clip of the occasionally-controversial daytime series because host Joy Behar gloriously falls off her chair at the start of the live taping.

Oof! What’s The View like down there?

To be fair, Behar is 79 years old, and therefore probably doesn’t have the best balance. But co-host Goldberg blamed the chairs themselves. “These chairs move!” she exclaimed after the incident. “You touch it and you’re on the ground.”

Co-host Sunny Hostin tried to reassure Behar that such tumbles “happened to all of us at one time or another.”

“25 years, that has never happened [to me],” Behar insisted. “Who do I sue?”

Sara Haines noted that the chairs are unusually “high,” to which Goldberg joked that it “takes a glass of wine to get into the chair.”

Though the score may seem to be chair-1, Behar-0, the comedian still got the last laugh. “I’m going to make a resolution,” she said. “I’m going to make my behind a little bigger, just for the purpose of the chair.”

Atta girl.
