When you’re ready to own your own home, you have to spend a long time touring other people’s homes that are on the market. You look over the kitchen, check out the bathrooms, and take a gander at the master bathroom. If you’re anything like us, you try to get a vibe of the house as well. Is it old? Sort of spooky? Might it be haunted? We’d rather not live in a house that is inhabited by a poltergeist, but some people actually look for that sort of thing. The unique individuals are in luck. That’s because the house that The Conjuring is based on just hit the market.

You know The Conjuring. The story of a family who moves into a run-down Rhode Island mansion only to encounter (unsurprisingly) a malevolent spirit. Well, the house the popular horror movie is based on is for sale.

The 3,000-square-foot home in Rhode Island comes with three bedrooms, eight acres, and likely a ton of evil, terrifying specters. And it can be all yours for the low-low price of $1.2 million.

The movie was based on the 1971 account of the Perron family who lived in the farmhouse and was haunted by a witch named Bathsheba Sherman. Ed and Lorraine Warren came to investigate the hauntings.

If the thought of living in a house that not only is the basis for a horror franchise but also might be home to a horrible, scary witch, this just might be your dream home.
