Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Face a Royal Return Warning — Expert

A royal expert has claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will “never again represent the royal family,” despite their return to the UK. The Sussexes moved back to Britain in August and reportedly plan to stay for an extended period. Harry recently spoke to GQ about his desire to mend ties with his family. However, royal commentator Hilary Fordwich believes the couple will not resume official royal duties.

Expert distinguishes family reconciliation from official royal duties

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has said that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are making a “big mistake” that could potentially destroy their chances of reconciling with the royal family. Fitzwilliams pointed out that Harry’s eagerness to discuss his strained relations with his father and brother could push them further away. The royal expert stated to Fox Digital: “The peace offering is already undermined as it is public.” Adding,”continues to be his big mistake. He cannot be trusted.”

Fitzwilliams explained that the Sussexes have targeted the royal family time and again through their past interviews and media appearances. Their relationship is strained to the extent that it cannot be simply fixed by making public declarations.

Furthermore, Hilary Fordwich explained that while the King may want to see his two sons reunited, he and William stand united in believing that the Sussexes will never represent the royal family again. The Duke of Sussex candidly spoke about his fractured relationship with both King Charles and Prince William in his recent GQ interview.

Harry confessed that he is willing to patch things up with his father and brother. However, he added sharply that some people don’t want it to work out. He emphasised the word “reconcile” and called it the “key point.” The prince also acknowledged that he has been “really criticised” for sharing his side of the story.

Harry and Meghan made their first joint public appearance in Nottingham in October. The Sussexes met locals, fans and volunteers from several charitable organisations. Some critics characterized the visit as resembling an official royal engagement, although the couple remain non-working royals.
