Ex-Prince Andrew’s Kids Face a Brutal Verdict on Their Royal Status — Poll

A new poll has found that most respondents oppose Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie becoming working royals. The daughters of former Prince Andrew face renewed scrutiny amid controversy surrounding their parents and their links to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Although the sisters have retained their princess titles, neither currently serves as a working royal.

Royal fans suggest if they want former Prince Andrew’s kids to be working royals

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have endured a difficult year, with scrutiny intensifying over their parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson. King Charles’ nieces are not directly implicated in their parents’ actions. However, the ongoing controversy has cast a shadow over the family and created fresh challenges for them. Now, debate has resurfaced among royal watchers over whether the sisters should take on roles as working royals.

A recent poll published by the Daily Express posed the question to readers: “Should Princess Beatrice and Eugenie be working royals?” The survey was open from 1 pm on October 22 until 6 am on October 27. Results showed that just 14% supported the idea of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie becoming working royals, while 82% were against it and 4% remained undecided.

The outcome points to a reluctance among respondents to see the royal siblings in an official capacity representing the Crown. This comes at a time when calls for a more streamlined monarchy have intensified, alongside ongoing questions around their titles.

This unfolds as speculation grows about the sisters’ Christmas plans. They are also said to be mindful that any display of support for one parent could be interpreted negatively by the other. With relations between the former Duke and Duchess of York so strained, they reportedly feel that some upset over the festive period is now inevitable.

According to a royal insider, the main concern for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s daughters is their mother, Ferguson. The source shared that they fear leaving her on her own over Christmas would be painful for the fallen royal.
