Lollapalooza 2013 VIDEO: Brick + Mortar Savor Their Lolla Success

We debuted Brick + Mortar’s new track “Locked in a Cage” two weeks ago to your enthusiastic approval — and, as luck would have it, we once again hooked up with the guys —  Brandon Asraf and John Tacon — in Chicago as they prepared to play their first-ever Lollapalooza date.

And you couldn’t find two happier musicians in all of Chi-Town as the excitement of hitting a festival stage was sinking in for the Toms River, New Jersey natives ahead of their Friday set.

As the guys took a minute to relax high atop the Bedhead Artist Retreat at Public Hotel Chicago, Brandon and John told Crave what it was like to get the news that they’d be playing Lollapalooza and what it’s like for a pair of lifelong friends to finally be making some headway in the music racket.
