Lollapalooza 2013 VIDEO: Hollywood Holt Talks Greatest Performance Ever

Chicago is home turf for Hollywood Holt.  For the past decade, the rapper/producer has been slaying Chi-Town crowds with his old-school rhymes — not to mention producing work like the Amy Winehouse cover “Back to Black” for Andre 3000 and Beyonce on The Great Gatsby soundtrack.

And Holt…man, he’s a character.  We caught up with him — barely — at the Bed Head Artist Retreat at the Public Hotel Chicago, where a few things become apparent to the uninitiated.

1.  This dude is engaging as hell.

2.  He loves hip-hop and getting up in front of a crowd.

3.  A close second on his list of loves: Chicago.

Before his Lolla 2013 set, Hollywood recounts the details of his best live performance ever — his first Lollapalooza set back in 2009.  Check it out…and thanks to our friends at ElevatorMag for their fantastic partnership during our run in Chicago.
