Megan Thee Stallion Joins the MCU (Wait, Isn’t She Already a Superhero?)

Marvel fans are always on the lookout for hints that a new celebrity name is going to join the MCU. But one famous moniker we never thought would be associated with the superhero-themed universe was Megan Thee Stallion (because she’s already a superhero, obviously). Yes, the woman known for such hits as “WAP,” “Big Ole Freak,” and “Freak Nasty” (we get it, being freaky is your superpower!) is adding a superhero series cameo to her curriculum vitae.

The rumblings started after Stallion’s stunt double, Marche Day, added She-Hulk: Attorney At Law to her resume. Then Stallion herself confirmed the appearance (without naming the role) in an interview with The Cut – but it sounds like this is only the beginning of her fling with Hollywood.

“I don’t feel like I’m only going to be an actress,” she said. “I feel like I’m also going to be a director and I’m also going to be a producer.”

But first, acting. If you’ve been sleeping on She-Hulk, Collider sums the series up this way:

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law centers around Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), a lawyer who goes green – literally – after an accident that puts her in contact with her cousin’s Bruce Banner/The Hulk’s (Mark Ruffalo) blood. She then uses her newfound powers for good and defends super-powered people in court.”

In addition to Stallion’s mystery part in She-Hulk, she’s also landed roles in the comedy F***ing Identical Twins and the series P-valley. What’s more, she’s the focus of a forthcoming docuseries by TIME Studios, which will trace her Grammy-winning career from its beginnings.

But what we’re really psyched to see is what Stallion does in She-Hulk. She should be showing up sometime before Season 1 of the series concludes its nine episodes, which are releasing weekly on Disney+ now.
