I’ve said this before, but there is no way I’m going to fight with a dude who is armed, especially if I’m just fighting to keep them from stealing cash from an establishment I work at. That said, the cafe owner in the video below is a hell of a lot more brave than me.
Three suspects are now in custody after a crazy struggle occurred between an armed robber and a Houston cafe owner. According to the owner, the robber entered Bambu Desserts and Drinks and pointed a gun at the owner’s head, demanding he open the safe. Well, the owner wasn’t going to comply, so he took down the robber.
Have a look:
As you can see the owner won the bout as he fires several shots at the thief.
Here’s what the owner, who does not want to be identified, said about the incident:
“I thought I was going to die. He told me he was gonna shoot me. The gun could’ve went off, and it would have shot into my stomach. And that’s a .357, so I would have been dead.”
Another employee of the store says that two people were waiting outside the cafe in a getaway car. And while a total of six shots were fired, and windows and the glass front door were shattered, no one was injured.
The names of the three suspects have not been released, but the owner had a few more words for the thief:
“The guy’s an idiot. He even told the cop..when the cop grabbed the gun from the counter and he brought it into the car, he said the suspect said: “Can I have my gun back?”‘
