Meghan Markle was spotted in London on Wednesday, October 14, with her royal wedding evening reception hair stylist George Northwood. The duo stepped out together for a lunch date. The former actress has yet to make an official appearance since she moved to the UK with her family.
Meghan Markle meets royal wedding hair stylist ahead of Prince Harry UK outing
Per photos obtained by HELLO! magazine, Meghan Markle met royal wedding hair stylist George Northwood at The Park restaurant near Kensington Palace. This was where she and Prince Harry lived during their engagement and as newlyweds. For the day out, she wore a Marks & Spencer black tuxedo blazer and Jennifer Chamandi heels.
Besides styling her hair for the evening wedding reception, Northwood also traveled with Markle abroad for several tours when she was a working royal. The Duchess of Sussex has largely stayed out of the public eye after moving back to the UK with Prince Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. According to reports, she has been busy helping the kids settle into their new home and school.
This new outing came just a day before her joint official outing with Harry on Thursday, October 15. The couple will visit Nottingham for a series of charity appearances. While Meghan allegedly plans to reconnect with women from London’s Hubb Community Kitchen, the couple will also visit the Community Recording Studio. This city is special for the Sussexes as they made their first official appearance there after their engagement announcement in 2017.
In a PEOPLE report published on October 13, a source close to the couple opened up about Markle’s return to the public eye. “After they first arrived in England, their focus was on establishing a routine and getting the kids settled into school,” they said. “Now they’re both excited to focus more on their work and the projects that matter to them. During the week, while the kids are in school, they’re working. They’re enjoying family weekends together.”
