People reports that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent Thursday, October 15, at a series of charity stops in Nottingham. It was their first official joint outing since moving back to the U.K. after about six years in California. They finished the day at Epic Partners, a charity that runs youth work, sports, mentoring and education for children and families.

Meghan and Harry helped frost cupcakes for staff member Michaela Castillo-Williams’ 30th birthday, then sang “Happy Birthday” to her with the group. Castillo-Williams said she has met Harry four times but never Meghan before. She called it “insane” that Meghan sang to her. The couple also took part in a “six-ball challenge” on the pool table and saw children playing basketball in the gym.

Public affection is nothing new for the couple. They have been seen rubbing each other’s backs and holding hands on engagements. They also shared a kiss during a cultural performance on their 2024 trip to Colombia. Former palace spokesman Dickie Arbiter previously told People that Harry “has always been tactile.” Harry is 42 and Meghan is 45.

Harry’s ties to Nottingham go back to a 2013 visit that helped lead to Full Effect, a partnership between Epic and the Communi
