A source told New Idea that Harry “regrets” some of the material included in the book. The insider claimed he now feels that certain details “should never have been revealed.” As a result, he is allegedly “trying to negotiate” a way to revisit the memoir.
The supposed plan could take more than one form. According to the source, Harry may push for a revised version of “Spare.” Alternatively, he could release a separate book reflecting on what happened after the memoir came out.
The original book contained several personal revelations about Harry’s relationship with his father. Among them was his claim that Charles did not hug him when he told him that his mother, Princess Diana, had died. The memoir also explored his complicated relationship with other members of the Royal Family.
Now, Harry is allegedly considering whether revisiting those revelations could help change the narrative. “It’s his chance to make things right and eat some humble pie,” the insider claimed.
