A source told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice that the couple seemed to be “treating the royal diary like an instruction manual.” Similar to the royal family, the Sussexes allegedly follow the “same appearance, same photo opportunities.” The only difference seemed to be that the duo wouldn’t need the “palace permission.”
Furthermore, a royal insider claimed that reconciliation might not be Harry and Markle’s first priority now. “It’s revenge. They know every appearance irritates the palace. That’s not an unfortunate side effect. It’s part of the fun!” the source remarked.
According to them, the Duke and Duchess might not have let go of the past yet. They reportedly still remember the alleged mistreatment and humiliation before they left the palace in 2020. It was reported that the couple might be “fighting back” after returning last month. While they became non-working royals, Harry is still a prince, and Markle holds the duchess title. Moreover, their kids are called “Prince” Archie and “Princess” Lilibet.
“Their attitude is simple: We’re royal whether you like it or not. They don’t need the King’s blessing to behave like royalty,” another source claimed.
