Food Squibs: ‘Impossible to Screw Up’ Pizza Bake

Everybody likes pizza. In fact, if you have someone in your life who doesn’t enjoy this Italian American treat, move and request a restraining order.

So, with popularity assured, it’s always a plus to have a simple, reliable pizza recipe stored away in case visitors are headed your way with the expectation of dinner. This ‘Impossible to Screw Up’ Pizza Bake will sleep in your cabinet until it’s called upon to save the day.

Ingredients: Two pouches Bisquick. One cup water. One jar pizza sauce. One 8 oz. package of pepperoni. Two cups mozzarella cheese.

Preparation:

• Combine Bisquick and water in mixing bowl. Will produce a soft dough.

• Drop 1/2 lb. dough by spoonfuls in bottom of 13 x 9 baking pan.

• Drizzle one cup of sauce over dough.

• Top with 1/2 of pepperoni and one cup cheese.

• Repeat the process.

• Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

Breathe easy and serve.
