We’ve all seen the movie ‘Snakes on a Plane’, right? You know, the over-the-top, sensational, cinematic masterpiece starring Samuel L. Jackson about a plane filled with venous, slithering snakes. The premise is pretty terrifying, right? Hundred of snakes in an enclosed space is pretty scary, but what about one snake in a place where you don’t expect it to be? Almost as mortifying.

That’s exactly what happened recently in the wild, untamed, vast wasteland known as Australia. This is where a man named Dennis decided that he wanted a frosty brew from the fridge. Not a strange trip usually, but this time when he went to open the door, he found himself face to face with a seven-foot-long Carpet Python that was hiding beneath the fridge.

Luckily, the snake didn’t strike, and the man was unscathed and his home was saved from the venomous vagrant thanks to reptile specialists named Mullet Mick and Adele from Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers. They showed up and removed the snake. The two reptile wranglers even uploaded a video of the whole thing so we can all see just what this beer guzzler was dealing with. The pair set the giant snake free in a forest, far away from the home. We can only assume Dennis enjoyed not one but several beers after this scary encounter.
