OK, we get that she’s a gym teacher, but no way in hell was this the type of workout that was in her duties.
Let’s all talk about Shawnetta Reece. Reece is a 40-year-old teacher who had a job as a gym teacher and a track coach at Union County Middle School. We say ‘had’ because there’s no chance she will ever be allowed to teach again. Why? Because she was recently arrested and charged with child molestation and sexual assault by persons with supervisory or disciplinary authority for having sex with a 15-year-old student in 2013.

During their investigation, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Union County Sheriff’s Office found that Reece was sexually involved with the 15-year-old student. The student was moving from the eighth to ninth grade at the time of the alleged relationship, the GBI said.
11Alive News discovered a Google cache of Reece’s now-deleted Twitter page, showing her interacting with other students in her capacity as a gym teacher and track coach. There is no indication that any of the students pictured on the page were involved in the GBI’s investigation.
Once the authorities received a tip about a possible relationship involving Reece and a student they moved fast. You know, because it happened four years ago. As for Reece, once the investigation is completed, the case will be provided to the Enotah Judicial Circuit District Attorney for prosecution.
