We here at Mandatory love a good man-crush, and the new one between Ryan Reynolds and Stanley Tucci is one for the record books.
It all started when Tucci posted a video on Instagram mid-pasta-prep. “11pm marinara and left over pasta. As promised,” the 60-year-old baldie captioned the vid, in which he is shown all dressed up in a button-down shirt, tie, and apron, stirring together noodles with red sauce in a skillet on the stove.

Among the many adoring comments from followers was one from none other than Reynolds, who wrote, “Dear god, you are a SNACK.”
Yeah, Ryan, we know. We’ve all been watching Tucci since the pandemic began, be it whipping up negronis on Instagram, eating pizza on Searching For Italy, or salivating over his new cookbook, Taste: My Life Through Food.
But it’s still nice to see Tucci being complimented in such unabashed form by one of his peers. Honestly, Ryan, we couldn’t agree with you more.
