Prince Harry Wants Prince William Back, but One Final Hope May Be Fading — Expert

Prince Harry‘s wish to reconcile with Prince William reportedly seems unlikely to come true. A royal author suggested that the Duke of Sussex’s hope won’t be helped by the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana‘s death. Meanwhile, royal observers had hoped that next year’s milestone could bring the brothers back together. The news came after William reportedly decided against appearing in a TV documentary marking the occasion. The reason was cited as avoiding more conflict with Harry.

Expert claims Prince Harry’s wish to reconcile with Prince William is a fading possibility

An expert discussed Prince Harry’s hopes of reconciling with Prince William. According to the Daily Mail, Omid Scobie, once dubbed Harry and Meghan’s “cheerleader,” shared his thoughts in an ABC News Studios documentary. He claimed that the Duke has “made it no secret” that he wishes to reconcile with his father and brother. However, Scobie admitted that he doesn’t expect the milestone to change things. “I can’t see it making any difference, but one can always hope,” he said.

It was reported that William received several offers to appear in a documentary. He allegedly held private talks at Kensington Palace with BBC Director-General Matt Brittin last week. Hence, the Prince of Wales seemingly chose to stay out of it. Meanwhile, Harry is said to be planning his own tribute. He has reportedly asked a number of Diana’s friends and relatives, including Earl Spencer, to take part in a commemorative film. The project has not been confirmed.

Furthermore, Scobie claimed that King Charles now has a “warmth” toward the Sussexes. “That iciness has thawed out,” he said. However, he insisted that Harry’s relationship with William will never improve. “With William, I don’t see it will ever change,” the author added. According to him, Kate has very little to do with the brothers’ bond, despite talk of her being the peacekeeper.

The Sussexes have been involved in a public spat with Buckingham Palace about their status since their UK return. Scobie said that, regardless of whether people care about Harry and Meghan or the royal family, “the world can’t stop watching.”
