Nancy Guthrie’s neighbor on seeing possible kidnapping suspect: ‘He just didn’t fit’
Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance case has still been under investigation. The 84-year-old went missing on February 1, followed by suspicion of kidnapping. After the images of the potential suspect emerged, neighbors and others came forward to share details. Recently, one of Guthrie’s neighbors told Fox News Digital that she saw a young man near her home two weeks before the incident.
Aldine Meister reportedly has lived in the Catalina Foothills, Tucson, Arizona, for nearly 30 years. So, when she got a glimpse of a suspicious man, she allegedly told her husband. “He didn’t have your typical walking gear on, and he had his hat pulled really far over his eyes,” she described his appearance.
Furthermore, the woman told the outlet that he was walking toward an intersection that led to Guthrie’s home. According to her, the lad appeared “younger,” who didn’t seem to be there “for a walk.” Meister added, “He just didn’t fit.” Although she allegedly discussed it with her spouse, she didn’t report it to the police at the time.
Meanwhile, the images and footage shared by the FBI regarding the suspect have sparked widespread speculation. Earlier, reports claimed that the masked man visited Nancy Guthrie’s home a day before she went missing. However, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos recently told PEOPLE that there was “no evidence to support that.”
