Ex-Prince Andrew’s Home Reportedly Got ‘Super Fast’ Upgrade — Here’s Why

Ex- Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has reportedly received a high-speed internet upgrade at his new home on the Sandringham Estate. A full-fibre broadband connection has been installed near the property in Norfolk, providing faster and more reliable service. The improved connection will allow him to stream services like Netflix without interruptions.

The upgrade comes after the area previously experienced a month-long internet outage, and even when service was available, the residents complained of poor connectivity. It was because of these ongoing issues that the local council pushed to modernize the network by installing full-fibre broadband infrastructure.

Ex-Prince Andrew’s Wood Farm home got high speed internet upgrade for Netflix — report

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Duke of York, was asked to leave Royal Lodge last year on the orders of King Charles. He recently moved to Wood Farm in Norfolk, located on the King’s private Sandringham Estate.

Although the five-bedroom property offers most modern facilities, internet connectivity in the area has not been very reliable. According to the Daily Mirror, a high-speed internet connection has now been installed outside Andrew’s home in Norfolk.

Wolferton, a small village on the Sandringham Estate, has long struggled with poor internet service. Last autumn, the area reportedly lost connectivity for nearly a month. The entire area also suffers from weak mobile phone coverage, so residents often rely on internet-based services to make calls. They also use it to browse the web and watch streaming services.

As a result, the local council recommended upgrading the network infrastructure to provide faster and more dependable broadband. The upgraded, full-fibre network is being extended to nearby Wood Farm as well, ensuring faster and more stable service.

This high-speed upgrade will allow the former Duke of York to stream platforms like Netflix smoothly and without interruptions. The news comes after Andrew was reportedly arrested at Wood Farm on his 66th birthday on suspicion of misconduct in office.
