Kate Middleton has reportedly had enough of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Nottingham drama. According to a source, the Princess of Wales has seemingly reached her “breaking point” after the Sussexes’ recent tour. Their reportedly nonchalant approach to charitable work in the UK has allegedly irked Middleton. For those unversed, Harry and Markle’s relationship with the Waleses soured after they slammed the royal family on national television and in the memoir “Spare.”
Kate Middleton feels Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have ‘gone too far’ with UK outing, per source
Kate Middleton reportedly disappointed with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s “performative appearances” since their return to the UK. A source told Closer that Middleton has reached a “breaking point” after the Sussexes’ Nottingham visit. “She’s spent years biting her tongue, trying to be the bigger person and putting William’s feelings ahead of her own,” they claimed. Furthermore, it was said that the Princess of Wales has had enough and is “finding it harder and harder to contain it.”
The insider claimed Middleton seemed irked with Harry and Markle for pretending nothing had happened in the past. “[The Sussexes] somehow expect everybody to forget what’s happened – so they can just slip back into life in the UK when it suits them. [Middleton] feels they’ve gone too far,” the source added.
Harry and Markle returned to the UK this August after leaving in 2020 and building a new life in Montecito, California. Although they remain non-working royals, their appearances for charitable work didn’t seem to sit well with the royal family. Recently, the Sussexes made their first official joint appearance in Nottingham. It was a meaningful trip for the two as they visited the city together in 2017 after announcing their engagement.
Meanwhile, an earlier report suggested that Markle and Harry might fly back to Montecito for holidays. They reportedly would not celebrate Christmas with King Charles or any other royal.
