Remember went Angelina Jolie went on Anderson Cooper and said Zahara was an AIDS orphan? Apparently Zahara’s alleged family didn’t catch that episode. In Touch says:
Zahara’s adoption papers, which an In Touch representative was shown on November 12, clearly states that Zahara has a grandmother and extended family alive in Africa – and the grandmother introduced In Touch to her daughter, who claims to be Zahara’s mother. Now, Angelina’s worst nightmare may come true. “I want my daughter to come home to see where she is from,” the woman who says she’s Z’s mother, Mentewab Dawit Lebiso, tells In Touch. “Her grandmother and I both tried very hard to raise her, and I want her to come home to regain her identity.”
Man, you tried for six whole months. That must have been exhausting. But really, I’m just trying to figure out why an orphanage is like a daycare in Africa. You can just drop your kid off and pick them up later? Zahara has been with Angelina Jolie for almost two years. I’m guessing that’s enough time for Zahara to realize she lives in a mansion and this old lady from Africa lives in a mud hut. Zahara has an iPod, her grandmother washes her clothes in a bucket. The only Africa Zahara wants to visit is Epcot Africa.
