It looks like one of America’s most iconic actors really wants to take a stab at playing one of American cinema’s most iconic roles. Recently, a Reddit user asked Denzel Washington, during an AMA, if he’d ever be interested in being the next James Bond.
He responded very enthusiastically and said there should be social media campaigns and communications to the studio. Whether it was serious or not, the statement was sure to bring smiles to everyone’s faces, because Denzel is quite the high-caliber actor, and would surely do the role justice in some likely unique ways.
