Strippers Reveal 10 Things They Hate About Their Job

Being a stripper must be a tough job, and the ladies of the Show Palace have let us in on a few little pet peeves of theirs when it comes to performing in the Queens-based all-nude strip club.

While we could’ve guessed some of these issues would be quite prominent in the day-to-day life of a strip club worker, others we were taken aback by. I mean, who tries to kiss strippers while they’re working?!

Read on to find out the 10 things the Show Palace ladies hate about their job.

1. Cheap Men (a.k.a. “Singles)

Men who decide to have a cheap night in a strip club are unpopular with its employees, as you can probably imagine. “Don’t come to the club with $5 in singles and stay all night,” say the Show Palace girls,

2. “Smackers”

The phrase “look but don’t touch” is the most important rule to employ in a strip club, as strippers quite rightly don’t appreciate being harassed. As the Show Palace girls say, “hands off the asses.”

3. Wedding Rings

A man can never look more sleazy than going to a strip club with a ring on his finger, but it also makes for a health and safety hazard, an issue made clear by the Show Palace girls: “Not only does that mean the guy is taken, but it goes back to the smacking. Ouch!”

4. Smelly Breath.

The Show Palace girls sum up this issue quite succinctly: “No one wants to be grinding on anything that smells like it’s dead.”

5. “Budgeting”

As previously mentioned, no one likes a cheap guy in a strip club. But what’s worse than one cheap guy? A whole group of them, according to the Show Palace girls: “Don’t show up with a pack of guys with hopes to pass one girl around all night!”

6. Chatty Cathy’s.

“If you want to talk, call your mom!”

7. Cell Phones

It should be common courtesy to not take your cell phone into a strip club and begin recording the strippers, but apparently some people don’t abide by the unwritten social laws. “We like our privacy too,” say the Show Palace girls.

8. Other women

“At least not the lame ones who are there to monitor and not enjoy. Fun women are welcome!”

9. Bill Placement.

When it comes to the placement of dollar bills on the Snow Palace girls’ bodies, they had this to say: “Don’t try to put bills in our mouths or other areas…especially when they come from your sweaty hands!  Keep it to the g-strings and other straps, men!”

10. Kissers.

We wouldn’t want to meet the man who thinks it’s okay to try and kiss strippers while they’re doing their job, but just in case you’re that kind of guy, the girls have a word of advice: “DON’T TRY IT.”
