10 Social Media Food-Based Trends That Have to Stop Now

Food is never far from our thoughts.

Considering food is always on our minds — and that practically every freakin’ thing that passes through our heads eventually ends up as fodder for a social media post, it stands to reason that food and food-based Facebook posts, tweets, Instagram shots, Vine videos and all the rest are a constant presence in your social feeds.

We get pictures of what our family, friends, childhood acquaintances and former co-workers last ate.  We get Tweets about what they’re GOING to eat.  And we get Facebook posts waxing poetic about that Quesadilla Burger at Applebee’s that they WISH they were going to eat.

Well, it’s gotta stop.  Not all of it, of course…food talk is unavoidable.

But thanks to Thrillist, we now have a pretty conclusive list of 10 social media habits centered around food that need to end.

Like now.  Seriously.

Head over to Thrillist to see the full list — and tell us if you agree.
