Kevin Hart and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Hilariously Take on TikTok’s Tortilla Challenge Ahead of ‘DC League of Super-Pets’ Release

We told you about the Tortilla Challenge overtaking TikTok not too long ago. Well, it was only a matter of time until more people – including celebrities – got in on this bizarre social media dare that involves, well, slapping your competitor with a tortilla. The latest duo to take it on? Kevin Hart and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

The pals, who have starred in numerous flicks together, including 2016’s Central Intelligence and two Jumanji movies, share the screen next in DC League of Super-Pets. Apparently, they thought smacking each other around with large spinach tortillas would be a good way to promote the movie. (If you’re unfamiliar with the rules, the Tortilla Challenge involves slapping each other with tortillas while maintaining a closed mouth full of water.)

“This will be the funniest thing,” Hart predicted as the buddies prepared for battle. “Don’t fuckin’ knock me out,” he added with a laugh.

“Don’t fuck around and put your whole hand back there,” Johnson retorted.

Laughter could be heard off-camera.

Hart went first, and apparently got some force behind his tortilla smack.

“You slapped the ever-loving shit out of me! I’m coming for you!” Johnson teased in the hopes that his competitor would spit out his water. “I’m going to kill you!”

Hart was the first to let the water drip, so technically, he lost. Although, according to the 43-year-old comedian, both he and 50-year-old Johnson were losers in their own way.

“Well, this is us trying to keep up with the younger generation,” Hart observed.

“Never again,” said Johnson.

Well, never say never, guys. This PR stunt was so entertaining, we hope you absolutely do something like this again.
