Sorry for the bad news, owner behind the 1979 Porsche 924 that was reported stolen 1991. Your car has just been found at the bottom of the cliff in case you were wondering.

The Porsche was stolen from a Medford, Oregon parking lot way back in 1991, and now 26 years later it has finally been found at the bottom of a cliff southwest of Crater Lake, thanks to a hiker. And boy, it wasn’t in good shape at all.

Based on the debris, investigators concluded the vehicle had been there quite a while. Yeah, obviously. Oh, and according to police no human bones were found — only deer bones were found near it. So unless a deer stole this Porsche, I think there is no mystery to be solved.

The Jackson County Sheriff revealed that is is going to be tough to retrieve the car because of “the vehicle’s location on steep, rugged terrain presents logistical and environmental concerns for removal.”

Well, I guess it’s Mother Nature’s car now.
