Guy Who Discovered KFC’s ’11 Herbs And Spices’ Joke On Twitter Is Handsomely Rewarded

If you’ll recall, back near the tail end of October, Twitter user by the name of Edge stumbled upon a long kept secret of KFC — they follow their 11 herbs and spices guidelines very strictly. So much so, in fact, that they literally only follow 11 Herbs and Spices (a.k.a. Spice Girls) on Twitter. Let us again gaze upon the famous tweet that shot Mr. Edge to superstardom:

We were all very impressed, especially the Colonel himself. That tweet was shared over 300,000 times and counting, which means it surely drummed up some added business for the company. If not, then why in the would did they send this as a thank you?

On November 4th, Edge tweeted the above photos with the caption, “Dreams DO come true #GiddyUpColonel Thanks @kfc.” Which just goes to show you that if you spend enough time on the internet digging way too deep into seemingly insignificant details, someone is bound to eventually paint a stunning portrait of you riding a cultural icon’s back as the two of you walk into the sunset together sharing a chicken leg.

Granted, that’s a very specific lesson, but prove us wrong.
