Exclusive Interview | Katelyn Nacon of The Walking Dead

Viewers who saw last Sunday night’s episode of The Walking Dead witnessed the return of a character who had been missing and presumed dead. It also featured the return of Katelyn Nacon’s Enid, the enigmatic young woman who left Alexandria shortly before it was surrounded by walkers.

Enid made her first appearance in The Walking Dead during the fifth season as a potential love interest to Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs), but she kept herself at an emotional distance from him. Some Walking Dead fans have even theorized that Enid was working with Negan’s group as a spy within Alexandria, but there hasn’t been any concrete proof of that yet.

Yesterday, Nacon stopped by the CraveOnline studio in Los Angeles to talk about Enid’s return. Nacon also told us how she landed the part and developed her character while also touching upon the fan response to Enid and she would choose to depict Enid’s death…if Enid were to die on the show.

Additionally, Nacon shared a few memories of her Too Many Cooks appearance and told us about her upcoming film, Tagged. Outside of her acting career, Nacon is also a singer/songwriter, who has released an EP. You can find Nacon’s music on iTunes or visit her site for more info.

The Walking Dead midseason finale will air this Sunday, November 29 on AMC.
