Texas A&M’s Kevin Sumlin Cancels Practice, Players Go Crazy

Imagine going through two-a-days in Texas. Anywhere from 4-6 hours of daily football practice underneath a sun so hot it would cook the devil himself. One word comes to mind — brutal.

With just two weeks leading up to the kickoff of the 2014 college football season, Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin decided to reward his players for their hard work. So you can understand why the players’ reaction was so… exuberant.

While gathering his team prefacing their evening practice Thursday, the head coach was about to give his routine instructions… before immediately halting his football talk to announce he was taking his team to a movie instead.

The entire team instantly lost their shiz.

Now only two questions come to mind. Which movie did they see? And… is this an NCAA violation?
