Watch Pete Davidson Get Booed at Syracuse Game After Calling City ‘Trash,’ Said the Guy Dating a Kardashian

Welcome to your daily dose of celebrity schadenfreude. Pete Davidson, whom we now all love to hate because he’s banging the hottest Kardashian (that’d be Kim), was booed at a men’s basketball game at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse over the weekend.

Why? Because three years ago, he called the city “trash” in an interview with Howard Stern, and while New Yorkers may have short attention spans, their memories are long when it comes to insults.

Though the 28-year-old Saturday Night Live star tried to stay under the radar at the game between the Syracuse Orange and the Louisville Cardinals, he was inevitably recognized, filmed, and booed by fellow fans.

“Pete seemed to be prepared for what was coming to him,” a season ticket holder told Page Six. “He brushed it off and had a laugh, as did the locals.”

It wasn’t exactly a warm welcome, but Davidson seemed ready for the chilly reception, at least when it came to his clothing. He stayed bundled up the entire game.

Ah, but don’t cry for Davidson, who attended the game with entrepreneur Adam Weitsman. Weitsman took the young celeb up to his suite, which recently underwent a $1.3 million renovation. The two sports nuts didn’t even stay for the whole game; they left a little after halftime to get their grub on at Funk ’n Waffles. Sounds like an ideal dude date to us.

Perhaps Davidson’s opinion of the city has changed. But if not, trash recognize trash, right?
