Meanwhile in Florida: Rock Band Frontwoman Hands Out Golden Shower, Folks in the Front Row May Get Wet

It’s been a strange week for live music. Between the horrors of Astroworld and the emotional sweater hug of Taylor Swift’s SNL performance of “All Too Well,” things have really run the gamut. But one band decided to step outside the spectrum completely when they gave one unsuspecting fan a golden shower.

Sure, bands have to set themselves apart. Especially after a year and a half long hiatus has left fans starved for a transcendent live performance. But is peeing on someone’s face really the ticket? Brass Against was in the middle of their cover of Rage Against the Machine’s ‘Wake Up’ when the band invited one lucky fan onstage for an unforgettable one-on-one. That’s when lead singer Sophia Urista laid him down so she could drop trow and pop a squat on his face.

Depending on what you had for lunch, you may not want to watch the following video:

The next day, the band sheepishly broached the subject without actually apologizing. “We had a great time in Daytona last night at Welcome to Rockville,” the band posted on Instagram. “Sophia got carried away. That’s not something the rest of us expected, and it’s not something you’ll see again at our shows. Thanks for bringing it last night, Daytona.”

While most of us probably wouldn’t be too thrilled at being the target of Urista’s La Croix lunch, the dude in the video looked every bit the willing recipient of his deluxe golden shower. And as much as we hate to say it, if Brass Against doesn’t repeat the act, there’ll be lots of disappointed fans in the audience.
