Yeah, it’s probably best you let police know before you film a scene involving robbers and guns.

A police officer in Crawfordsville, IN, actually got calls about a masked man inside a local bar. When the officer showed up he found the masked man who appeared to be armed and shot at him. And wouldn’t you know it but the man was not a robber at all, but simply someone part of a movie crew filming a scene. Oh, and his gun was a prop. Awkward.

According to police, the production team did not notify the proper authorities about the film shoot, so of course they all thought what was going down was real so they acted.

Thankfully no one was hurt, but boy, is it just me or did that cop shoot fairly quickly? No? Maybe? Perhaps. Well the lesson here is if you’re filming a movie, regardless of what it is, let the right people know, folks.
