Soho House staff have reportedly been asked to sign NDAs to prevent them from divulging information about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s visits to the lavish country retreat. For the uninitiated, Soho Farmhouse is an exclusive, members-only country retreat within the Soho House group. It also holds special significance for the couple, as they reportedly had their first date at the Soho House club in Toronto while Meghan was filming the legal drama Suits. The Cotswolds retreat is also close to the property where the couple are reportedly staying in the UK.
Soho House reportedly has a rule for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Sources confirmed to Page Six that Soho House staff had to sign NDAs for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The source said: “All Soho House staff have had to sign an NDA specifically for Harry and Meghan.” This is seemingly done to protect the Sussexes’ privacy and prevent personal information about them from leaking to the media.
This comes in addition to the already strict set of rules that staff and members must adhere to at Soho House, which prohibits them from taking photographs. Interestingly, another source confirmed that Harry and Meghan are not the ones who have insisted on the NDAs. At the time of writing, neither the Sussexes nor Soho House has commented on the matter.
The outlet previously reported that Markle frequently visits the luxurious retreat for coffee gatherings or casual socialising. The Suits star also regularly attends reformer Pilates and wellness classes inside the club’s “Wellness Barn.”
Soho House exec Markus Anderson is reportedly a good friend of the Duchess of Sussex and was photographed with her last month. Anderson helped arrange Markle’s bachelorette at Soho House and also helped organise quiet, low-key dates for the Sussexes when they were still dating.
Security has long been an issue for Harry and Meghan, who have sought a review of their UK security arrangements. The couple are reportedly undergoing a security review by RAVEC following their return to the UK. They also recently changed Archie and Lilibet’s school after concerns were raised about the security risks associated with the school run.
