Prince Harry Accused of Using Royal Rift to Promote Grief MasterClass — Expert

A royal expert has criticized Prince Harry for discussing his family issues while promoting his grief MasterClass. The Duke of Sussex recently spoke with GQ’s Zach Baron about losing his mother, Princess Diana, returning to the UK, and reconciling with his father, King Charles, and brother Prince William. However, royal commentator Emily Andrews questioned the timing of the interview, given Harry’s new project about grief.

Expert questions the timing of Harry’s GQ reconciliation comments

Royal expert Emily Andrews has accused Prince Harry of capitalising on the possible royal reconciliation to promote his grief masterclass. Notably, he released the grief masterclass in collaboration with expert neuroscientist Dr. Mary-Frances O’Connor.

Andrews appeared on Daytime on 5 with Storm and Alexis and criticized Harry for discussing his family issues, grief and trauma while promoting his latest project. She suggested that the royal family would prefer these matters to remain private. Andrews noted that Harry’s recent GQ interview is, in fact, tied to his grief masterclass and is a promotional strategy. “I mean, the reason he gave this interview to GQ was that he’s promoting, uh, a master class that he’s recorded in grief,” she added.

Royal expert Carol echoed Andrews’ views and added that William is absolutely incensed and has no plans of reconciling with his brother. Carol branded Harry and Meghan’s recent Nottingham event as a “quasi-royal event” and stated that this would have infuriated the palace further.

The royal expert said that Harry has privately made efforts to patch up with his brother William but has received no response from the Waleses. Andrews also stated that the Duke of Sussex has employed a solid PR team in the UK. However, the royal expert reminded him that times have changed and he is no longer a working royal.
