The couple are now back in the UK for an extended stay after living in California for six years. Recently, King Charles issued a letter stating that they cannot use HRH and that they are “private citizens.”
The Sussexes were reportedly disappointed and reacted to the matter. Now, they are making public appearances and grabbing headlines for their UK outings and charitable work. Amid this, a royal insider told Rob Shuter that the monarchy is playing a long game and thinking about the future. The insider added that Harry wants a fight and wants the palace to react. However, the palace is instead choosing “silence” as its greatest weapon, knowing that it “drives him crazy.”
According to the insider, the Royal Family is well aware of the way Harry “throws tantrums.” They added, “The only difference is that now the whole world gets to watch.” As per the source, while the family has allegedly “endured him” for “decades,” its strategy has now shifted to complete silence as a way of dealing with him.
An insider added, “Harry is becoming the boy who cried wolf.” According to the source, the more he complains, the less attention each complaint receives because, eventually, people lose interest and “stop listening.” They said, “The palace doesn’t have to destroy his credibility.
