Here’s A Guy Jumping Into The Water And Catching A Live Shark With His Bare Hands

I’m sure Shark Week isn’t doing them any favors, but every year, thousands of people drop thousands of dollars on therapy trying to overcome their fear of sharks despite the fact that dogs or bees kill more people every year than sharks. They call it galeophobia in the medical world, and there are apparently a bunch of people on the planet suffering from it.

This guy isn’t one of them.

We’re sure that clip really chapped the asses of the gang at PETA, but it’s worth noting that Alex Winn made sure to tell everybody on Instagram that he let the shark go immediately after the video was taken and “made sure he swam off.”

For Winn’s sake, let’s hope that he doesn’t run into that thing in a couple a years after it has had time to grow because according to Gizmodo, sharks can remember things for a year and probably longer, and our guess it that this thing was none too pleased about any part of Winn’s antics.
