Here’s An Eastern Brown Snake Showing A Bearded Dragon Who’s Boss

Australia seems like such a romantic place to visit with the wife when you think about the sexy coastlines, pristine lakes, kangaroos, the arts and of course, the accents.

But then you see a video like this and realize that if you make a few wrong turns in the land Down Under, it just might be the last trip you and your partner ever make. Watch as this eastern brown snake finds what looks like should be enough to feed a family of four in the form of a bearded dragon, and let’s just say that bearded dragon won’t be making any more trips either.

Here’s An Eastern Brown Snake Showing A Bearded Dragon Who’s Boss

Andrew Hull uploaded the video to his Facebook page Saturday afternoon, and it has already been viewed almost 300,000 times.

“So I’m driving up the river road from Wilcannia, composing a poem for Ian Marr, heart full of the bush, the autumn sun, and the wide red road, upon which lay a sizeable brown snake eating a bearded dragon,” Hull wrote. “I thought ‘bugger me – Australia!!’ Then thought ‘the only thing this scene needs is a barefoot bogan to film it on his phone and stick it on Facebook’….So I did.”

Given the fact that the eastern brown snake is the second-most venomous snake in the world, Hull would have also been able to capture me screaming and hauling ass in the opposite direction with soiled shorts had I been on the road at that moment. You have to think that also would have been good for a few hundred thousand views.
