Offset Just Can’t Stay Away From Casino Drama

Offset has experienced a string of troubling incidents involving casinos, including a shooting, a $100,000 debt dispute and a heated confrontation in Paris. However, the rapper has admitted that he is not ready to give up gambling despite his recent experiences.

Offset addresses his casino troubles and gambling habits

According to TMZ, Offset spoke about his complicated relationship with casinos while arriving at LAX on Thursday, Nov. 5. He admitted that his recent experiences had made him hesitant to visit gambling establishments. However, the rapper also revealed that he had no plans to give up gambling.

Offset also discussed his music video for “Every Night,” a collaboration with Don Toliver filmed inside a casino. The rapper described his life as a “movie,” explaining why the casino setting made sense for the project. The song is part of his upcoming album, GMFU. <Cite ref=”turn690615search3″/>

His comments come after a series of troubling incidents involving casinos. In April 2026, Offset was shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The shooting followed an altercation involving members of his entourage and another group. Paramedics took the rapper to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. Police subsequently arrested rapper Lil Tjay on a disorderly conduct charge related to the altercation, but did not charge him in connection with the shooting.

Days before the shooting, Detroit’s MotorCity Casino Hotel had filed a lawsuit against Offset over an alleged $100,000 gambling debt. The casino claimed that the rapper had failed to repay a credit line he opened in March 2024. It also alleged that an attempt to withdraw the money from his bank account failed due to insufficient funds. Offset’s representative told TMZ that they were working toward a resolution.

In October, the rapper was involved in another casino controversy in Paris. Video footage showed Offset arguing with employees during a high-stakes blackjack session. He alleged that other players had taken his spot at the table despite his substantial bets. The rapper also claimed to have won approximately $200,000 during the session.

Despite these incidents, Offset’s latest comments suggest that he remains reluctant to visit casinos but has no plans to stop gambling.
