Meghan Markle Reportedly Backing Prince Harry’s Finances

Meghan Markle is reportedly carrying more of the financial weight inside the Sussex household these days. New reports claimed the Duchess of Sussex has become the family’s breadwinner while Prince Harry continues focusing heavily on charity work and passion projects.

According to Page Six, conversations surrounding the couple’s finances intensified after another shake-up tied to Meghan’s business ventures and media deals.

Is Meghan Markle her household’s breadwinner?

Sources close to the Sussex circle claimed Meghan has shifted aggressively toward growing her business empire while Harry’s philanthropic work brings in significantly less income. “Money is tight,” one insider reportedly told Page Six.

Another source claimed the couple needs roughly $6 million annually to maintain their Montecito lifestyle. A large chunk of that reportedly goes toward private security for Meghan, Harry, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet, along with mortgage payments connected to their sprawling California mansion.

While Harry continues dedicating much of his time to projects like the Invictus Games and mental health advocacy, Meghan has reportedly thrown herself deeper into expanding her “As Ever” lifestyle brand and other business ventures.

The Duchess recently promoted the brand through an Instagram video showing herself eating strawberries while wearing a diamond necklace reportedly valued at $63,000. Celebrity friends including Lauren Sánchez Bezos and IT Cosmetics founder Jamie Kern Lima publicly supported the post online.

Meghan Markle’s growing business focus also comes shortly after her reported split from Netflix tied to the “As Ever” partnership. Earlier reports claimed her companion series “With Love, Meghan” would not return for a third season.

Still, Meghan appears determined to keep pushing forward professionally.

Last month, the former “Suits” actress joined AI-powered fashion platform OneOff as both an investor and featured personality. The partnership allows followers to shop curated looks inspired by Meghan’s wardrobe, including outfits from her recent Australia appearances.

According to WWD, the platform reportedly crossed more than one million outfit views within days of Meghan launching her page. Multiple fashion pieces connected to her Australia trip also quickly sold out online.

Meanwhile, rumors recently circulated suggesting Meghan may consider returning to acting following a cameo appearance in the upcoming film “Close Personal Friends.” However, Sussex insiders reportedly denied claims she was actively pursuing a television comeback.
