Sources recently shared that Meghan Markle will reportedly film “Junior MasterChef” in Melbourne. According to News.com.au, the show returns six years after its previous season. Meghan will reportedly appear alongside “MasterChef Australia” judge Poh Ling Yeow. Production is expected in Melbourne, likely over a matter of weeks in early to mid next year.

Meanwhile, an insider hinted that Prince Harry and their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, may well join her. However, no decision has reportedly been made. PEOPLE also understands that Meghan will be in Australia for just a few weeks. However, the family is reportedly not relocating there.

According to a press release, Meghan was delighted by the opportunity. She said, “I had an incredible time with the whole team at MasterChef this past April, so when they approached me to come back and work with this young group of talent, it was an easy yes. I love cooking with my own kids, so seeing what these young stars create in the kitchen is going to be a lot of fun. I can’t wait to see what they cook up!”

It seems the Sussexes like keeping their options open. Insiders reportedly said that they hoped to live as an “international couple” after moving back to the U.K. A source told The Times in August that they might ask, “Why don’t we try Australia?”

The news comes after Meghan appeared as a special guest on “MasterChef Australia” earlier this year. She reportedly filmed her slot at the Melbourne Showgrounds during a four-day Australian visit with Harry in April. A source claimed there was a “flash of tension” on the day.

Meghan and her team were allegedly “very frustrated” by how she was introduced. They had reportedly asked that the word “royal” not be used. On camera, Yeow was heard gushing that they had never had anyone “like this” in the kitchen. However, Meghan’s decision to return seemingly indicates that the tension has been smoothed over.
