Meghan Markle’s Matching Ring With Prince Harry Isn’t a Wedding Band

Meghan Markle has shown off a gold wellness ring that matches one Prince Harry has worn for years. The Duchess of Sussex wore the accessory in a new Instagram photo promoting a charitable sweatshirt collaboration. The couple returned to the UK with their children in August and are expected to make a joint public appearance in Nottingham on October 16.

Meghan Markle’s ring takes spotlight in new photos

Meghan Markle showed off a ring matching one worn by Prince Harry in a new Instagram photo. The Duchess of Sussex shared the image while promoting a limited-edition sweatshirt created with Moms Offering More for International Day of the Girl.

The caption read: “This International Day of the Girl, I’m proud of the way we are showing up, including with our Archewell Philanthropies collaboration with Moms Offering More supporting families alongside Alliance of Moms and Alliance for Children’s Rights.”

Meghan’s left middle finger features a gold ring identified by PEOPLE as an Oura Ring 4. The smart ring tracks wellness metrics, including sleep, physical activity, and heart rate. Its reported starting price is $349, with different finishes available.

The Duke of Sussex has also worn an Oura ring, with the accessory first attracting attention during the couple’s 2018 royal tour of Australia and New Zealand. Harry wears a platinum wedding band, while Meghan’s wedding ring is made from Welsh gold.

In other news, Markle recently grabbed a meal with Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai. The duo was photographed meeting at Claridge’s in London on October 7. In a new Instagram post, the Duchess of Sussex announced a collaboration between her Archewell Philanthropies, As Ever and the Malala Fund to support girls’ education.
