There are tons of models out there doing a lot of the same things, that’s why sometimes they have to shake things up in order to turn heads. Which may explain why this Brazilian model went around grabbing penises, or why this fitness model looks like she can beat up that bouncer at the club who never lets me in. The point is, sometimes you need to stand out. And the model in this story did just that.

Rava Ray, a 27-year-old Tahitian model who grew up on the South Pacific Island of Mo’orea, risks her life by diving naked into the deep waters with dangerous marine creatures in order to get incredible photos she can share with the world. Which is why she is known as the ‘Stingray Queen.’

And she spend her days in Hawaii taking pictures underwear. Naked of course. But Ray has a goal in mind:
“If I could help them change their perspective, I’d tell them to go experience the creatures themselves instead of relying on the things they’ve heard or seen in the movies.”
I’d rather not get up close with something that can chew my face off, but thanks.
As much danger as Ray puts herself in, she has never been attacked by one of these creatures. Ray has now left Hawaii to study fashion in NYC, so who knows how often she’s going to be able to take a trip underwear again to take these photos. Maybe while she’s in NYC she can take a photo with a subway rat or maybe a pigeon. I’m just trying to think outside the box.
