Prince William has reportedly “refused” to fulfill King Charles’ wishes to reconcile with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. A source told RadarOnline that the King’s eldest son seemed to act like the Sussexes “don’t exist.” They further said, “Ignoring Harry is his way of handling what he considers to be a wretchedly unpleasant situation.”
The insider claimed Harry has found William’s behavior “infuriating.” The Duke has allegedly tried to reach out to his sibling’s aides, hoping to get a chance to reconcile. But the Prince of Wales has seemingly decided to remain silent and ignore his youngest brother.
Meanwhile, Charles has welcomed Harry and his family back into their life. Although they have not made joint public appearances, he released a letter upon the Sussexes’ U.K. return. In it, he clarified that Harry and Meghan would remain “non-working royals.”
However, the insider said that Charles would likely want his sons to reunite. “The king has given the orders for this feud to be squashed, but as everyone knows William is refusing to come to the table,” they added.
For those unversed, the rift started when the Sussexes slammed the royal family in interviews, documentaries, and memoirs after leaving the UK in 2020.
