Prince William & Kate Middleton’s New Royal Strategy Breaks an Old Tradition — Source

A source claimed that Prince William and Kate Middleton are moving away from their years-long pattern of selective openness. Instead, they are looking for ways to connect with the public. This update comes as the Prince of Wales praised Sir Kevin Sinfield while emphasizing that the world needs less ego.

How the Waleses’ public engagement strategy is being described

A source told The Daily Mail that Middleton and William are approaching their engagement strategy differently than in the past.

They said, “[T]hey’re upping their game, as William and Kate continue to seek new and authentic ways to connect with people—from appearing on Travis and Jason Kelce’s podcast to adopting a strategy of controlled openness as opposed to institutional secrecy that has guided the Firm’s PR outreach.”

This update comes amid William’s praise of Sinfield’s humble nature in a BBC documentary. He shared the importance of having no ego in a world where people can’t stop boasting about their achievements. “I think Kevin does it very quietly, very subtly and just doesn’t want to be the center of attention but ultimately has a huge impact,” he elaborated.

The Prince of Wales urged the world to embrace this mindset. He argued that leaders need not broadcast every action on social media. He added that individuals can demonstrate leadership through diverse channels while focusing on what truly matters (via The News International).

This news also comes amid King Charles’s recent praise of Prince William while hosting the Sultan of Oman. He appreciated the friendship between Prince William and Sayyid Theyazin, calling their cross-generational relationship one of the “few happier symbols of success.”

After appreciating Oman’s “noble efforts” to keep the Strait of Hormuz open, he went on to speak about their connection. “Our connections matter deeply and, in this regard, I have been especially delighted to see our sons, the Prince of Wales and His Highness Sayyid Theyazin, become joint patrons of the Jewel of Arabia Expedition,” he stated.
