Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Archewell Productions staff cuts have reportedly reshaped the couple’s Hollywood production company over the past year. A new report claims the changes mainly affected project-based production crews rather than full-time employees. The reported restructuring comes as Archewell continues operating from Los Angeles despite the couple’s move back to the UK.

Reported cuts over 12–18 months affected project crews, not full-time Archewell employees

According to Page Six, Archewell Productions reduced its workforce over the last 12 to 18 months. An insider claimed the company’s Hollywood office at Raleigh Studios now has only a small number of employees.

The source said the reported cuts primarily involved production crews hired for specific Netflix projects. These included “Harry & Meghan” and Meghan Markle’s lifestyle series, “With Love, Meghan.” The outlet noted that full-time Archewell Productions employees were not affected by the reported reductions. Despite the staffing changes, the company has reportedly continued operating its Los Angeles office. According to the insider, employees still regularly work from the location even after the Sussexes relocated to Britain.

The reported downsizing comes as questions continue surrounding the couple’s entertainment ventures. Archewell Productions launched in 2020 following Markle and Prince Harry’s departure as senior working royals. Since then, the company has produced several Netflix projects, including the documentary series “Harry & Meghan.”

The report also noted that Netflix has not renewed Markle’s lifestyle series, “With Love, Meghan,” for a third season. However, executives have reportedly not ruled out potential future specials for the show. The publication further reported that the latest staffing changes are separate from earlier restructuring at Archewell Philanthropies. In 2025, the couple’s charitable organization reportedly reduced staff as part of efforts to lower operating costs.

The reported changes surfaced shortly after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made their first joint public appearance since returning to the UK. The couple recently visited Nottingham together, where Markle told supporters it was “great to be back” as they resumed selected public engagements.
