Meghan Markle‘s friend has made a surprising claim about how British people have treated the actress since she moved back across the pond. Much to the shock of fans and royal commentators, the Sussexes suddenly relocated to the UK last month. The move has since sparked widespread speculation about their motives and the public reaction.
Meghan Markle’s pal claims people in the UK are ‘loving’ toward her
Meghan Markle reportedly does not have the best reputation in the UK among royal fans. After stepping down as senior working royals and moving to the US, she and Prince Harry made several bombshell claims about other members of the Royal Family, which created a rift between them. The move also allegedly alienated the people in the UK.
However, Markle’s close friend, Kelly McKee Zafjen, recently claimed that the UK public is “loving” toward the Duchess of Sussex. In an Instagram post shared on September 23, the Alliance of Moms co-founder provided a glimpse into Meghan and Harry’s life in the English countryside. Zafjen is the first of Markle’s Californian friends to visit her. She also shared a series of photos from the trip.
Zafjen concluded her post, writing, “you’ve been so good to us. We’re leaving with full hearts and definitely leaving a piece of ours here. To everyone we’ve met or bumped into, thank you for being so loving to my friend. It’s been beautiful to witness. She missed you too!”
Elsewhere, she wrote, “Having the best time. There’s something so special about getting a taste of this magical place with my bestie, and having my sweet Jack along for the adventure. I’ve loved seeing this sweet chapter through her eyes and daily adventures! Especially getting to experience so many little firsts with Jack by my side.”
One of the snaps Zafjen shared showed Meghan cuddling with baby Jack. Another picture captured Harry playing with the little boy on the floor. She also included a photo of Princess Lilibet spending time with the baby.
