Donald Trump’s Bruised Hand Makes an Appearance During Holiday Weekend

President Donald Trump‘s bruised hand recently made an appearance again as he was headed toward Air Force One after giving a speech at a college in New York. The bruise seemed to be covered by the makeup, but the scar and its texture were evidently visible. A few days before, a similar situation about Trump’s discolored hands occurred when he was spotted at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland after addressing the graduation class of the Coast Guard Academy.

Donald Trump showcased his bruised hand as he addressed a group of reporters while making his way back to Air Force One to return to Washington, D.C. He spoke to the media on the tarmac of Morristown Airport in New Jersey, following his speech at Rockland Community College in Suffern, New York (via the Daily Beast). His scarred hand has made multiple public appearances, with the White House consistently debunking any health concerns and instead attributing the bruise to aspirin use and frequent handshaking.

Earlier, the White House addressed the bruising vaguely, choosing instead to focus on praising Trump. Their statement to the Daily Beast read, “President Trump is the sharpest, most accessible, and energetic president in American history. The President is a man of the people and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other President in history. President Trump’s commitment is unwavering, and he proves that every single day.”

In addition, the president also brushed off any concerns around his well-being, revealing that he has “perfect health.” He revealed that he takes a higher dosage of aspirin than what the doctors have prescribed. He said that the aspirin effects have led to bruising. Therefore, to cover up the bruises, he claims to use makeup.

“I would say, take aspirin if you like your heart, but don’t take aspirin if you don’t want to have a little bruising. I take the big aspirin. And when you take the big aspirin, they tell you, you bruise,” he earlier said following the World Economic Forum (via Reuters).
