Donald Trump’s Make-up Covered Bruised Hand Spotted During Coast Guard Academy Visit

Donald Trump’s bruised hand made another appearance in photos captured at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. His puffy hands appeared to be concealed with makeup matching his skin tone. This is not the first time eyebrows have been raised over his scarred hands, with the White House previously dismissing concerns by revealing that it was caused by frequent handshaking and aspirin use.

Donald Trump recently made an appearance at the Coast Guard Academy to address the graduation class. After his speech, he was spotted at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. The event’s photos drew all the attention to his right hand. His hand and fingers appeared more puffy than usual, covered with beige foundation. Before this, when Trump visited Beijing, China, for a diplomatic meeting, his severely discolored hands again garnered public scrutiny.

The White House did address the bruised hand vaguely instead, sharing a few words in praise of the president. Their statement to the Daily Beast read, “President Trump is the sharpest, most accessible, and energetic president in American history. The President is a man of the people, and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other President in history. President Trump’s commitment is unwavering, and he proves that every single day.”

Such frequent bruise appearances have sparked speculations about his well-being. However, earlier, the president had brushed off those claims, mentioning that he has “perfect health.” Earlier, he revealed that he takes a higher dosage of aspirin than the doctor’s recommendations. He claimed that the effects of aspirin lead to frequent bruising. That’s why he uses makeup to conceal it. Apart from this, in March 2026, Trump also appeared with a large neck rash during the Medal of Honor ceremony, garnering concerns. At the time, White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella debunked health speculations, revealing that it happened due to a prescribed cream for skin treatment.
