Tiger Woods’ private jet made its way to America from Zurich, Switzerland, on Wednesday, sparking speculation as to whether he was on board and if his rehab is completed. Following his DUI arrest in March, the golfer made a plea to the court to allow him to travel outside the country to seek “comprehensive inpatient treatment.” Ahead of it, he also announced his brief hiatus from golf on social media.
Tiger Woods’ private jet reportedly returned from Switzerland
Woods’ private jet was spotted making a return to America from Zurich, which has sparked speculations around his rehab completion. His 2008 Gulfstream G550 departed from Zurich at 2:00 pm local time and touched down at the Palm Beach International Airport, per TMZ.
However, it remains unclear whether Woods was on board or not. It’s believed that he’s in a 90-day rehab program, so it remains unclear if he returned or not. Moreover, the jet returned from Florida to Zurich earlier in the week.
Douglas Duncan, attorney for Woods, earlier requested the court to permit his client to travel internationally on his physician’s recommendation. “Based upon the Defendant’s treating physician, the out-of-country treatment facility recommendation is based upon the Defendant’s complex clinical presentation and the urgent need for a level of care that cannot safely or effectively be done within the United States, as his privacy has been repeatedly compromised.”
His DUI case recently witnessed a development as the prosecutors demanded that his attorney hand over his medical records. Additionally, they also sought information on his prescriptions from January 1 to March 27, 2026. However, Duncan argued that his client should have the right to privacy and that his medical records shouldn’t be accessed.
Meanwhile, he later discussed it with prosecutors, who agreed to his request not to make the records public, per Page Six. Apart from announcing his golf hiatus, Woods has also withdrawn from leading the US team in 2027’s Ryder Cup, as announced by the PGA of America.
